Soon Mark started to feel much better and he began to feel more energetic. He got to look at the scar on his chest, it was as long and wide as a pencil and it looked very red. The nurse told him that it would fade in a few months and would look much smaller as he grew bigger. Mark thought he might tease his friends and tell them a tiger scratched him. In a few days Mark felt like he wanted to run and run and run. But he knew it would be a few weeks before his cut would heal and he would have to be a bit careful. Doctor Jack came to see him every day. Soon it was time to take the IV off his Marks arm, Mark was happy because now he did not have to take the pole with him everywhere he went. A few days later, Doctor Jack said Mark was well enough to go home. He would see Mark in his office in a few weeks to make sure everything was ok. Mark smiled and waved goodbye to all the nurses and Doctors as he left the hospital. Mark said " It feels good to be going home mom, can we have peanut butter sandwiches for lunch?"
